At some point over the last 4 months, my computer updated the intel graphics drivers on my timeline 4810t. I got the new intel graphics control panel, which looks nicer and has loads of new features such as custom resolution (a feature i have been in dire need of.) However, i recently went to change my resolution only to discover that the older graphics control panel (the one that is the same as was on XP computers with intel graphics) which does not have the custom resolution as an option. i tried to download the new graphics drivers from intel but every time i would install it would give me various errors such as the computer not meeting minimum requirements etc...

I really need the newer intel graphics control panel, but i have no idea how to get it back, because it really was there before, please help.

    Hi,

uninstall existing versions of your Intel VGA driver using the Add/Remove Programs app in Control Panel.
Reboot, then install the latest version from Intel you hopefully have ready on your HDD.
