I have the timeline 4810t running windows 7 RC and i am having some issue with the launch manager software. When you click on the power management or Wifi buttons, the functions they are supposed to perform do happen, and the light on the button comes on or off properly. the issue is that nothing comes up on screen. this is especially frustrating with volume control, because the volume level image does not come up either... I read about people having issues with launch manager before, and most of the solutions involved running as an administrator and changing compatibility mode to vista. This solution worked once, but eventually, after a day or so, the launcher icons on screen stopped showing up (even though, for example, wifi still shut off when i hit the button) i tried uninstalling the whole launch manager program, and re-downloading it from acer.com. that was yesterday, and it worked again temporarily, but the icons stopped again and now that the problem is back, so im coming to you all for solutions... I currently have set the "Lmanager" application to run as an admin and on vista compatibility mode. In the end i can live without the icons on screen, but it is especially frustrating when i am unable to control volume from the keyboard
