Well, i'll start this off, I'm Nate, I recently purchased an Acer 7551-3464, As a multi purpose notebook. I searched the site and got nothing in the way of what i'm looking for, now, i'm aware that this is a low/middle end laptop, but i was wondering what/how could i tweak this notebook to just be that smidge faster, using software? I'm aware that SSD's and 1333 DDR3 Ram, would help a lot, but i'm just not able, nor do i want to sink the same amount of money i bought the thing for, to make it lesser of something i could have just bought with that total cost, Follow? I hope so. Now, i know it sounds noobish, to say how i want to clock the crap out of it, and so on, but maybe just a little tweak, here and there, would help me get that edge. I do some gaming, and it runs them. But nothing more. It runs. Not great. I want better performance in that department. I don't want anyone telling me that i should just buy a new laptop, because i can't afford it. (i'm used to forums where it's loaded with idiots and flamers, and there is little or no management) So sorry if i come off a bit harsh. Thank you. Also, if you want to contact me on any instant messengers, post here and i will IM you.
