Hello . I decided to update the graphics card in my laptop.
No one has tried this on the laptop, so it predicts problems. The Toshiba Gt330m MXM-II card does not have a bios chip.
What will be better.
1. Uploading a bios video into the system's bios , In this post, the user Filrond uploaded a video bios to the system's bios but in the Acer 5920G laptop

2. Soldering a bios chip on the card , I borrowed the idea of soldering from the forum.

I am asking for advice and help.

I uploaded the vbios from the link
http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...ct-for-beginners.693102/page-12#post-10265054
to the sbios, updated the bios, the laptop took off but I could not enter the menu bios (black screen), windows started to normally detect new equipment and started to update. The image was normal for unrecognized hardware, I did not upload drivers, there were artifacts due to the high temperature of the graphics card. I immediately turned off the laptop. On gt9600 it works normally. I suspect a bad vbios that I used and others do not have. Anyway, the GT330m Toshiba worked in acer 6930g.
I apologize for my English but I use the translator
I am asking for help again -
I think I'm doing a bios, just uploading the vbios from the link I just gave it does not work as it should, the card works but the system and windows do not recognize the hardware, Someone could do a bios with vbios gt330m?

Hello. I played with Toschib GT330M card, I announce that the card works well with Acer aspire 6930G, I checked Win Xp, WIn 7 and Win 10. The problem is not working menu bios system does not change to the menu bios, probably it is the fault of my card which has a problem (the card will advertise with the seller). I tested on Vbios with Toshiba A500 and A 505 which I myself extracted from the bios of those computers where these cards were mounted. I recommend rubbing between the core of the card and the cooling system of the copper plate 0.5 mm and using a thermal grease TG5. the temperature at rest is about 40 degrees, while the maximum load is 60-65 degrees Celsius. Also soldered the M25L512 chip which I programmed into the card did not notice the difference in the operation of the card itself except that there was no reading of the GPU temperature. How not to look at The GT330M Card Works very well with 6930G
