    Hello,

    I have Acer Aspire 7730G.

For some time my BIOS (v0.3636) shows 4094 MB of Total Memory (RAM). But I remember that I had earlier exactly 4096 MB.
So, 2 MB disappeared somewhere. Why and is it any way to get them back? Any help/suggestions would be very appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Why did you mind for the 2MB of vanished RAM?
You need to tell us your Laptop Specifications and OS you're using.
If not, it is hard for the users here to know your problem.

Come on, 2MB is 0,05% of RAM - a sum so insignificant so You wouldn't know the difference in Windows.

It's worth to add that Windows Task Manager on Performance tab shows even less Physical Memory (4060 MB) than BIOS.

Check your DxDiag for more detail information.
Or you can download some 3rd party software to check your system too.
I would suggest you to have a look on the DxDiag 1st. Click Start, type-in dxdiag and press enter. Then a windows will appear, find Run 64bit DxDiag on the windows and press it. After that read the information it shows.

DxDiag shows correct amount of memory (4096 MB). But this is not solve the main problem in BIOS or Task Manager. Why these memory values are so different everywhere?

DxDiag shows the correct amount of Memory always. So, you don't have to worry about why the other places shown wrong Memory amount.
Now, you can download some 3rd party software to check your Memory too.
    For example:

Maybe the Cache used? I mean the processor or mother L1 and L2 Cache. Not sure but a little RAM gone isn't a big deal.
