    Total Notebook Protection?

    I'm a bit confused with my warranty coverage. I have a 5672 with "3 year total notebook protection bundle" that recently suffered water damage (with smoke and poof, I think the mobo is toast). When I click to see what that means I get this:

    However when I click terms and conditions under that, it says this, down on the page:

    It seems that the abuse or misuse clause doesn't jive with the accidental damage coverage. Anybody know what's up?

    Misuse and abuse is not considered an accident. It's considered intentional damage. However, good luck to Acer to prove misuse or abuse.
