    Hi all

I'm basically new to the whole laptop thing and am looking for a cheapish decent computer just to have around the house.

I came across this soon-to-be-released model at Best Buy Canada:

The model is 5735-4874, or LX.ATR0X.190, for the specifically inclined.

I know it's common for retailers like them to have their own custom models, making it it difficult to read reviews etc. It's a 15.6" Aspire with a Pentium dual core and, overall, looks like it could be a good deal.

With so little knowledge of the landscape, however, I was wondering if anyone could point me to a comparable model or offer any other information which could be of assistance here.

    Thanks!
    TJ
