I just updated my Travelmate 2423wmxi's bios to 1.03>1.06 (phoenix bios). And it bringed some heat problems.
For example in WoW the machine slows down, very usually and the fan starts to run louder and then the fan slows down and the game starts to run normally, and after a few minutes the same starts over again. The game worked fine before the update.

The problem is that i can't find the old BIOS anywhere, in Acer's pages there is only v. 1.06 available.

Can anybody find that old BIOS so i can flash it again. Thanks in advance

I believe the bios is Phoenix BIOS4.0 Release 6.0 v1.03

Sorry man I checked the acer FTP Euro site and unfortunately the only bios they have up is the 1.06 Bios version you can see for yourself here

    ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/travelmate_2420/

Click Bios and you will see what I am talking about...you will have to find the old Bios 1.03 from someone who still has it... sorry I couldn't help you
