    Hi Guys,

My laptop seems to have a problem, every so often it won't turn off, and when this happens the monitor won't even black out (when you shut the lid).

The whole systems seems to work fine when this happens (it will still load programes, saves documents etc), but it just won't turn off.

It seems to happen when the laptop gets hot, but surely the laptop was made in such a way it shouldnt over heat?!

I try turning it off several times, and hold down the power button etc, but in the end I have to pull out the battery or the mains cable if I am running of the mains.

Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas on what to do??

    Thanks,

    Tonks

    1. Check for virus
    2. Check for spyware
    3. Run Tune XP
    4. Press the Power Button until shut off.
