    I just got a TravelMate 2428 and am trying to setup my internet connection but I can't get the modem to work, it says it running properly so why don'y I get a diali tone?

    Problem solved, The cable which connects to the phone line is faulty :mad:

    I'll have to share the cable I use for my desktop.
