I want to upgrade the HDD of my TravelMate 2490 notebook but I can't find anything on ebay. Can I used other model's HDD as a replacement? What are the other models that are compatible with TravelMate 2490?

    Thanks in advance

ST980811AS appears to be a SATA drive so you can upgrade to any SATA 2,5" 5400rpm/7200rpm drive. The brand doesn't really matter(they are all compatible) but Western Digital, Seagate and Hitachi are one of the best.
