does anyone know much about these? I can't seem to get the **** thing to power on. My cousin brought it to me one day and said it just stopped working. I've tried replacing the battery, and replacing the power supply, but no matter what, it will not power on.

What can i do to figure out what to replace. I've seen motherboards for these for very cheap on ebay.. would that be a good idea to try?

    Thanks guys.

Hard to tell in such cases. It might be anything from power supply to the motherboard. See if you can get it tested somplace before hunting down a replacement motherboard.

I tried another power suppy, the Targus universal 90 watt one. Still had the same problem.

I tried the Targus Universal Notebook AC Power Adapter to see if it was the adapter and its the same thing. On the bottom the 3 lights light up, power, battery and bluetooth/wireless. The HD and and the light beside it also light up. There is no battery installed. When I push the power on button nothing happens. I've tried removing the HD, Memory and CD Drive but still no success.

Here are some photos of how it lights up.

I've been speaking to a guy in www.notebookforums.com and he recommended trying to reset the bios with a jumper behind the ram slots.

Would there be any chance to rehost that picture. I too have a problem with my BIOS and would like to try this.
