Just in case anyone was wondering, like I was before I bought it, the Acer 4402 doesn't support ATI's hyper memory. This is a big deal to me as I wanted 128 megs of video memory, and that was the only feature lacking on the 4402. From what I read, i was under the impression that I could somewhat effectively double my memory to 128 meg using the 5.9 catalyst drivers.

Every non 4402 with an x600/x700 seemed to be able to take advantage of this but the 4402 could not... So it's going back to the shop and I'm getting an Asus Z70Va instead :)

If you install the latest ATi Mobility Catalyst 5.9 drivers, HyperMemory is enabled on all 64MB and 128MB cards.
