i fell in love with the 8200 when it came out, and now they've announced the core 2 duo version! i'm very excited! but i also have a few questions.

will the 8210 have 667 RAM? will heat be an issue with the new core 2 duo? is the screen matte or glossy? any input at all would be great!

Regarding the memory it will be exactly the same situation like the 8200, they will not guarantee 667 you may end up with a system that includes 533 RAM. Regarding heat, ofcourse core2duo will produce more heat but I think they will have their precautions and it wouldn't be an issue of concern. Regarding the screen, all travelmates have matte screens only the aspire range have the truebright screen.

The Travelmate range is Acer's high end product in relation to the Aspire range. While the Ferrari is a special edition product and yes it does have matte screen as the Travelmate.
