    TravelMate S-Video Out to Tv Not Working.

    Hi all.
    Im trying to connect my mom's laptop to the tv, so she can use the laptop as a dvd player.
    She has a TravelMate 4500 with intel 852 chipset (onboard intel graphics). and an s-video out on the side of the laptop.

    When trying to play a dvd, i can get sound coming through the tv via the headphone jack on the laptop. but no video.

    I have been to MANY websites. and have found no solution.
    when I go into the intel graphics options, the ONLY display device option is the laptop, there is no s-video or tv option for me to switch to

    any ideas?
