I had some1 tell me that the Aspire's build quality is not as good as the travelmates. Is that true?

Both of them tend to get a lil warm is what i've heard, which one is more uncomfortable??

The Acer Aspire 5672WLMi was what I was looking at. Seems like a gr8 NB for the price... is there a comparable Travelmate?

The 5672 is a very nice notebook, check out our review. Generally the TM line is more business oriented while the Aspire is more consumer. You'll find most of their machines come in both variations.

From what I have seen there is not too much of a diference between them. The Aspires are definately the low end version in that they are the lowest priced Acer's you can probably buy. Som of the top end Acer's are pretty well equipped(like the 5672) and have the same build quality as respective Travelmate branded laptops. Some of the low end Aspires also tend to have lower capacity batteries limiting their battery life.

If you are looking for anything on the low end, I would suggest lookig for the travelmate series but if you are looking at the top of the line Aspires they should be pretty well built.
