This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Travelmate 5520 internet problems

    I have an Acer Travelmate 5520 which came with Windows Vista but I downgraded to XP SP2, using the drivers from their website.

    I have a problem with browser or ftp programs. The packets sent over network to internet seems to be messed up like this: [​IMG] (the page doesn't load due to a bad request sent to server. the request is from other website, which tab was closed much earlier) or [​IMG] (in the advertisement section is the header from another website, also closed earlier).

    I don't know how to fix this, I reinstalled windows but hte same thing happened.
