    Travelmate 6003LMI card reader doesn't read MMC

    I have the TM 6003LMI, very happy with it...!!!

    I recently bought a kingmax MMC 1gb for my nokia 9500 and my TM 6003LMI!

    The MMC works perfect in my nokia 9500. The MMC used to work perfect in the TM 6003...it just stop recognizing the MMC.
    When I insert the MMC, windows is giving the signal that the card has been inserted, but in explorer I can't find the MMC.

    Strange, because it used to work and now it just don't.

    Funny thing is: I returned the laptop (RMA Acer)...and they installed a new motherboard...but it doesn't work.

    Any help is welcome!

    SD cards don't work in my 3201XCI (they did at one point when I first bought the thing) Thinking about returning it, but I don't want Acer to see all my work documents and porn on my hdd! Is it ok to return the notebook with the hdd removed? or am I being silly.
