    Ciao,

I have Acer Travelmate 7520G (Turion TL-58) and upgraded from 2G of 667Mhz RAM to 4G of 800Mhz, however the memory is still running at 667Mhz and FSB:RAM being CPU/6. Chipset here is Ati RS690 and according to Everest it supports 800Mhz DDR2. There is no option in bios to change the RAM frequency or divider.. I have tried updating the bios with no luck. Is there any way around this?

If the TM7520 is based on the Kite Platform, it'll support 667MHz DDR2 max, so the DDR2-800 will downclock to DDR2-667.

Try checking the CPU code-name and DRAM frequency in CPU-Z.

Well I guess that's the problem then. CPU code name is Tyler in CPU-Z and DRAM frequency is the same as in everest (315,9 MHz)
