Apologies if this has been addressed before.

I have a Travelmate 7530G which will not start. The power button illuminates; the keyboard lights flash momentarily; the fan runs for two seconds then stops.
The screen remains blank, ie no logo or bios information.

I have replaced the hard disk and the ram and put extra heat transfer compound on the cpu chip but the fault remains.

Is the motherboard faulty and if so, where is the best place to get it repaired?

    Many thanks.
