Hi, there, i have just got a travelmate 8741, with SU9300 (1,3/800), 250GB 5400, Intel 4500. I have to admit that it is very portable and the battery lasts for 6 hours+. But ... it is very slow.

So the question is would it help to upgrade from the seagate 250GB 5400 to a WD Black 320/7200 performance wise???
How would this affect my battery times???

Also can i upgrade the Graphics card or it does not worth it??

    Regards

A clean reinstall of Windows will speed up system responsiveness as a whole.

I think it a little hard for me to do... What about the drive exchange?

You'll probably need to do a clean install on the new hard drive anyway - it won't come with Windows.
The WD Scorpio Black 320 is one of the better hard drives out there for speed, it'll certainly help things.
As for the GPU, the Intel GMA 4500MHD is embedded into your northbridge on the motherboard. No chance for an upgrade there.

I can't see it making too large of an impact - it may use more power when it's in use, but if it's quicker, it'll be in use less often.
Only one way to find out!
