    My system disk is damaged and Acer tells me the system is out of warranty and they do not have the recovery disk as it is now a legacy system. ANy help?? I started to load up the OS using the system DISK it comes off with a message saying Error E32 recovery file( Windows root >system32\hal.dll the file is missing or corrupt - is this system disk file?). Not sure how to get it running again? Can I just buy any other OS and load it up? Say the latest travelmate version? Will it work? Appreciate any help on this!
    Where can I get a copy of the system32\hal.dll file? Please help!
