    Travelmate4220 audio device does not appear

    Hi.
    For the last 2 days I have been fighting with installing my audio device driver on Travelmate4220. I had to do it after I had changed the LargeSystemCache in the registry to 1 to make my games run faster and that made my computer unable to start. None of the safe mode options worked. So I have made a clean Windows XP reinstall.
    The problem is that my audio device does not appear among Sound devices no matter what I do.
    I seem to have installed all the drivers needed, but...
    Have anyone here faced this problem?
    The only thing that comes to my mind is that I have messed up the order of installation of various system devices that were not found by Windows.
    Any ideas will be appreciated.
