I'm looking at buying one of these used The Triton 500 with the following specs:
    500gb SSD
    16gb ram
    8th gen Intel processor
    Rtx Nvidia 2060
    144hz display 17.4"

What is your thoughts on this? Is the laptop still holding up well after a few years? Any noticeable problems? I was looking through this thread and some people were complaining about bios issues, is there anything I would need to worry about? What do you think a fair price would be for it.

    Thanks!

It's a 15inch screen. Some rare people reported black screen issue, Nvidia GPU disconnects itself and reboot helps. I never faced such thing though I'm on the 2019 model, with 2080 and 8th intel. If you'll be able to return it in a month - get it.

Thanks, I missed that it's a 15" screen. Seller advertised as 17. I'll probably pass then, I appreciate the response.

I have the 8750H, RTX2060 config (SKU:NB.Q50EK.006) with a fried motherboard. I found NB.Q4W11.003 motherboard with 9750H and RTX2080 on eBay and see no reason for my laptop to be incompatible with NB.Q4W11.003 motherboard. Do you think it will be compatible? :)

Spilled a cup of tea on it, didn't have proper screw driver to open it up and remove the battery, 19v output of battery shorted to the gnd, one of CPU VRMs blew up :(
