Trying to purchase an Acer 20xx

I'm new to this website.

I've been researching Notebooks for about 2 weeks and have finally found the perfect notebook in both design and function for my needs and taste. It is the Acer 20xx series. As I understand its been discontinued in the USA, I'm willing to order internationally. But I can't find a vendor who ships to the USA that carries this notebook.[B)] I'd like to order this immediately. Does anyone know how I can get it?

Well, I didn't purchase the Acer 2023wlmi

The company was gonna charge me almost $200 in shipping charges.

However if anyone is interested, the Acer 2023WLMi is available here:

But the shipping is a killer[B)]. Plus my bank was charging $50 for the wire transfer.

Paying over $2000 for this laptop was more than I planned and decided I could get the new Dell 6000 for that price.

Anyone recommend a Laptop that is as nice looking and feature rich?
My main concerns are 15.4"LCD, 512mb, 60gb, Low-heat, nice battery life, and most of all.. GOOD LOOKING! I love the metal casings! (preferably silver/steel)

Acer Aspire 1680WLMi w/ Hitachi 60GB 7200RPM Drive

 

Well, I just bought a 2012wlmi off of e-bay from a lady for $1200 (I guess its a lady, I don't know)

Its used, but no damage/scratches.

I've been finding inconsistent pictures of the 2012 though, some look like the 202x series, and some pictures look like the models without the frontside media controls. I prefer the front side media controls...but for this price I think I'll be happy regardless.

I'm confident that Acer makes a solid laptop from reading the posts.

Anyone know about the 2012?[:0]
