    Hi all.

Does anyone know if the Ferrari 3400 would support a Turion X2 CPU?

The chip should be pin-compatible, but I wonder if the system BIOS/chipset would support it.

The Turion64 X2 and the mobile Athlons used in the Ferrari 3400+ are not pin compatible. The TX2's are based on skt S1 with 638 pins. Only the older single core Turion64 ML/MT series were based on Skt 754.
