    Turning OSD off on 2012WLMi?

    The green OSD messages are driving me crazy when I'm playing games. Whenever I turn the volume up or down the it tries to show the volume OSD and most games just completely crash, slowdown for 5 minutes or the screen brightness goes way down for some reason. Isn't there anyway to turn the OSD completely off?

    Can't find the option anywhere, but this is my first laptop so I don't really know where to look.

    I think it's part of the Acer Launch Manager. You may need to uninstall it to get rid of the OSD. My 3200 is being replaced now, so I won't be able to look into it more tomorrow when I pick up my new unit. I try to remember then.

    You were right. Simply turning off the launch manager disabled the OSD.
    Thanks! I'll be turning it off before I play games now :)
