    Hi all,

I've got an Acer AS1810TZ (originally bought in the US) which I'm going to be using in the UK. Can someone please confirm:

    a) That I just need to get a UK power adaptor to run it in the UK.
    b) That this one will do the job?

If either of those assumptions are wrong I'd very much like to be corrected and shown a suitable solution - thanks!

just get a plug adapter. the ac adapter will usually take anywhere from 110-220 AC, from 50-60 Hz. So all you need is a plug adapter, or a UK power cable to the ac adapter.

As techiediva said, it should just be a case of getting a 3 pin UK cloverleaf lead from maplin etc.

For reference on my UK spec 1810TZ the power brick is made by HIPRO
    Model: HP-A0301R3
    Input: 100-240V - 1A (50-60Hz)
    Output: 19V - 1.58A (30W)
