Is is better to install a Logitech V200 USB wireless mouse or a Logitech V270 Bluetooth mouse which would require a Bluetooth USB adapter?

That would depend on your personal preferences, regarding cost, convenience, battery life etc.

I guess both the USB and Bluetooth Logitech Mouse function similarly. Does the Bluetooth have any advantages regarding data transfer from a Mobile Phone to a computer or from a notebook to a desktop?

i just bought the v270 for my 5672 since it has a built-in BT functionality. but otherwise, i think i would have gone with a USB wireless, since there are many more options.

note, that the V270 does NOT come with a BT dongle. so you can't use it unless your computer is somehow enabled to use BT.
