Seems like you're missing some drivers. Look here for acer drivers. Perhaps try the "Card Reader Driver".
-
ok,thanks, i checked it out, is it the FLASH BIOS that i have to download?
-
The flash bios means that it will flash your bios which essentially means that it will update your bios. Here is an informative article explaining the how/what/why of flashing your bios.
Flashing your bios may help, but I'm not sure. Perhaps somebody with an acer can help with that question. -
ok, thanks for your help, i will download Card Reader Driver and report back if it works
-
ok, i downloaded the card reader driver, but when i plug in my webcam, it still wont work eventhou ive already installed the software (cd that came with my webcam)
but the PCI FLASH memory is ok now, this is what i have now...Attached Files:

I have the same issue on an acer 5100. I believe it is not software related.

Are the USB slots connected directly in the motherboard?
I remember back in 98 I had a motherboard lose all functions of its USB connections. I never figured out how to fix it and just ended up buying a USB pci card. -
I have a thread with similar issues that might be USB related. I turned of power management on the USB and it seems to help.
Here is the link, post 13 has info on how to change the settings.

Something sure is fishy regarding the 5050 and USB.
