Can anyone tell me what the process "algiri1f1nt" does? I have no clue, and google doesn't turn up the process anywhere.

    thanks.

I'd advise you to check for spyware and run a virus scan. That process seems very suspicious.

Tried a whole bunch of spyware scanners ( I scan everyother day) and all turn up nothing. It came with the computer when I bought it, but has no apparent use.

Run filemon and regmon over @ sysinternals. Find out exactly what it is doing, honestly it sounds like spyware / malware to me.
