I have just upgraded my old Core Duo CPU T2250 (like I said before) to Core 2 Duo T7200 on Acer Aspire 5572ANWXMi of 5570 Series. Luckily, the heat released was not too hot, hehe :D although I used the old heat sink fan. After the upgrade, I did the most dangerous job to my notebook-BIOS update and realized one thing. Both the old BIOS version and the new version has NO option to enable VT (As you know, T7200 supports VT). I have found a solution on the Internet using SYMCMOS in Linux but it is so hard to understand. Could anyone of you who used to unlock VT on this kind of processor please show me how to find the code that deals with VT to unlock the VT. Thanks in advance.
