    Hi,

I've just got my shiney new 5684. I'm very happy with it except I can't see how to unmap the hotkeys that Acer use.

I specifically want to use Alt f10 within a program that uses it quite a lot (Lightwave).

When I press those keys of course, up pops the eRecovery management module, which I definately don't want.

Do I need to uninstall something or is there something I can stop from loading in msconfig, I can't see an eRecovery program in there.

    Regards,

    Bernard D

If you are hitting ALT + F10 in windows and it is bringing up the Erecovery software the best option I can suggest to you is to create a full image backup of your HDD with Acronis 7 for free or use some other imaging tool.

After that I would suggest that you remove the software in question and then reinstall it if you ever feel like using the D2D recovery option for windows. I personally do not use i and find it as waste (I still have the backup DVD anyway)
