    I want to update the BIOS of my Acer Aspire 5750G to the latest and I wanted to hear your opinions on how it is done.

    Updating the BIOS is risky but if you prepare yourself by reading as much as you can and get all the advice you can get, it'll be OK. I am not trying to discourage you but trying to save some time and hassle.
