    Hi,

I have a 80 GB Sata HDD, on a (virtual ((i still dont have it exactly... :) ))) 5315 C2D T8300 laptop. and i was wondering if i should upgrade it. What will change exactly, is it worth it, and if yes what kind of HDD should i look for?

You can alot more storage for not that much money and depending upon how old the laptop is you could get better battery life and be faster.

Look at 2.5 inch drives at ether 5400 or 7200 rpm (I prefer 5400)

Yeah you can upgrade up to 500GB HDD. I'd personally go for a 320GB 7200rpm Seagate or WD. Apart from more storage this upgrade should give you some performance boost as newer and faster HDD has better seek times and read/write transfer rate. Considering the fact that you have a 80GB HDD(probably 5400rpm) a new Seagate 7200.3 320GB will double your transfer rates and seek times...
