    Hello, I'm about to reinstall windows xp. I switched to linux after getting annoyed at various problems with the ati drivers on xp. The ATI drivers for the radeon x1100 (200m) are quite old on the support website, does anyone know if the updated drivers from ati will work ok on the aspire 5101awlmi?

    The last time I tried to use them they said my graphics card wasn't supported and wouldn't work. The time before that they installed fine, but when playing rome total war or oblivion aftter a while the screen would just go black.
