    Hi folks

Decided to upgrade my Go 7600 drivers from factory installed 84.85 to 163.75 drivers from LaptopVideo2Go. Performance and scores have taken a knock on 3D Mark 2006. Screen resolution while running the benchmark is wrong too. I am unable to see the bottom quarter of the screen where the FPS etc are displayed while the benchmark is running. Weird...anybody got ideas?

    Thanks,
    Theo

the test is running in 1280 x 1024. thats the only resolution in the free trial version. i guess your screen is a bit smaller, maybe 1200x800 ?

New drivers does always necessarily improve performance...especially for older cards. Just roll back drivers and try another one :)

you need to uninstall your first driver properly before installing an updated driver...

Thanks schoko. You nailed the problem. +1 for you :)

Have rolled back to factory drivers as there is no real improvement in other graphics tests (3D 03) etc. Will stick with what has worked in the past with no problems.

    You folks are great

    Thanks,
    Theo

Why don't you try 169.XX drivers?
