    Hi,

I have downloaded the 1.11 bios file from Acer's site. However, I'm not sure how to use it. The folder contains a windows and a dos version. I would like to stick to Win version because I haven't go a FDD drive. When I start the Win version file it quickly jumps to dos prompt and asks me a couple of questions. The problem is:

    1. I want to make a backup of my bios (and I am not sure I will be allowed to do that).
    2. Does this dos based utility do the right job?
    3. I have also heard people use completely Win based utility to update bios. Where to get it and how to use it?

EDIT: Hmm... It seems that WinPhlash has to be used with the bios files that are in DOS folder of the 1.11 package. Is this the right assumption? Also which of the bios files has to be used (there are 3 versions).

Funnily enough there is absolutely nothing on the Acer site...
