Any information please on how to upgrade memory on Acer Aspire 4920G. At present have one 3GB unit installed. Any information and instructions on how to upgrade would be very much appreciated. Also will I notice a big increase in performance if i upgrade.

If you have a 32-bit OS, there is no point in going above 3GB. With 4GB installed, your OS will not use the full 4GB.

And, to be honest, unless you're running virtual machines or something similar, you should never really need more than 3 GB of ram.

Thanks for the info, I have a 2GB and a 1GB card installed, I read that they should be installed in pairs, would I be better to get another 2GB card or does it not really matter if they are not "matched pairs"
