    Hello All,

I was just wondering if i could get an upgrade for CPU for my laptop
    Acer Aspire 5613 AWLMI
    Spec:
    Intel Core Duo T2350
My chipset is Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset

    My research:--
i did checked on Intel site that this chipset supports

    Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7600 (4M Cache, 2.33 GHz, 667 MHz FSB)

    Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset with 82801GBM I/O Controller Hub (ICH7M)

i did call Acer Rep at my location but hey were unable to help...

Can someone at notebookreview help me out on this if any information is neded let me know..

    any help is greatly appreciated.

Last thing i want to upgrade my CPU since i need to run 64-bit OS

    Thanks in Advance..... :)

If you have 945GM chipset then yeah, Core 2 Duo socket M(like T7600) should work. However, your BIOS must support it too and I have no idea if Acer made a BIOS update for your model that actually support C2D CPUs.
