    Can the video card on the Acer Aspire 5000 be upgraded or is it intergraded with the motherboard?

    Video cards can not be upgraded in laptops. What you see is what you get. :p

    Unless it's MXM certified. MXM is nVidia's graphic card swapping idea. ATi has it too,but I don't know what it's called. Acer doesn't have nVidia graphics (not to teh best of my knowledge). Read this for more info. It's a table on mxm-enabled laptops. I think it also gives a basic idea of what it is too.
