so i just got a TL-52 on my 3050 and it is so much better that all the waiting was worth it! But the main proble is that I would like to overclock it a little, but I cant figure outo how to do it! Clock gen asks for a PLL but I downt know what PLL to use and the ones I tested cause system to hang... anyway, any instructions on how to overclock my TL-52 3050?
Im sooooo happy now!!!!

First of all, why didn't you get a faster processor if you went thru all that trouble of upgrading your cpu? Turions are really cheap now, and you can get a 2GHz one for a little over $200. But anyway, that's done now.
I would say google your machine for pll compatibility. If others found the right one, then you can find out about it. If noone found a working pll, then there isn't one and you're stuck with what you have. That's how I found the one for my computer, by searching online.
Oh and also, don't expect to get a big overclock anyway, or even a big performance increase. -
i just got a turion tl-64 for £140 in the uk, what cpu did you have before your tl-52

a sempron 3500+... so big leap for me huh?
but adinu, how did you search for it? give me a clue please?
and btw, I live in Brazil, so anything becomes a lot more expensive... a tl-64 would be vere, and I mean, very expensive... -
I searched for "Acer Aspire 5102 PLL".
Now take out the 5102 part and put in your specific model and boom, you just searched for it.
Now your results may vary, but at least you searched for it. -
oh, and another thing... I've noticed a great deal of improvement by changing the processor only... I mean, even surfing the web my wireless conections seems to be a lot more stable and so.
Is it my head or can be happening? -
Well you did go from a single core to a more powerful dual core, so no this is not only in your head. Most people see a distinct difference between the two.
Upgrade to a TL-52 but cant overclock...
