Ok i've installed Windows 7 onto my new SSD drive thats fitted into my Acer Aspire 6930g, boots up, runs no problem..

the issue i'm having is gettin the old one off the HHD drive partition... the old HDD is showing

    1.the factory set 110gb (system) -
    2. 100gb (storage)
    3.recovery partion and
    4.OEM partition.

any idea what i need to change over so i can format the "Old Windows" drive without having to remove the partion etc??

Could you write your question again in another way? I don't get what you want.

Cheers finally sorted it out, now trying to find with the issue is with the random turning itself off... i think its an issue with a conflict with GeForce 9600M GT being in the system, tryin to locate my old card to check it runs ok with that in.
