    Upgraded to Seven, DO I need these apps from Acer?

    HI, new to the forums.

    I recently installed Windows 7 with a clean install. I had Vista (which I actually liked), and had a free upgrade to seven, so why not, right?

    Anyways, I was wondering if any of these apps, that came with my upgrade kit needed to be installed:

    Acer Mobility Center
    Acer Security Suite
    epower
    optical drive power management
    power management utility
    power dvd

    Does anyone know about these?

    I sweeped my hard drive and installed a clean of install of Windows 7. I don't have ANY of the Acer's crap apps - Only the Launch Manager, because it has the drivers for your volume adjustment etc.

    Don't install ANY of them.

    If you have a BD-ROM drive in addition to Launch Manager, you'll need acer arcade deluxe for movies. Otherwise, the applications are mostly useless.

    Epower Management function is mirrored by Windows 7 power management.
