I'm lying - this little beauty was actually a PRE-BF special from Target. :p

    Atom N450, 1.66GHz, 512 KB cache
    1 GB SODIMM RAM
    160 GB HDD
    3 cell Li ION battery.
    Feather light :)

Since most of what I do is Internet surfing and light word processing, I don't see any need to upgrade the N450 brains of the thing, but I do intend to upgrade the RAM to 2GB (when the new chip arrives. I also plan on putting a 640GB HDD in instead of the 160. I chose a slow 5400 rpm WED unit as the 'puter has no fan and I feared that too fast (in rpm) miight mean more heat.

    I also want a 6 cell battery but I can't find a 6 cell unit5 for the D255 (or D260) at a decent price.

Am I over loading the poor little BF special??
