I have two questions regarding upgrades to the Acer Aspire AS5739G-6959:
1) Can I upgrade this laptop's processor from t6600 to t9300?
2) Can I upgrade the video card from 130m to 230m?
Thanks in advance!

Laotzu, the T9300 might be compatible with the 5739G, but the T9300 was designed for the 965PM chipset, while the 5739G has the PM45 chipset and thus can use faster CPUs.
Check Acer's specs page for some possibilities, but any T or P series CPU on Socket P with a 1066 MHz FSB should work.
As for the video card, the GeForce GT 230M hasn't really been sighted around much, if it even exists in MXM format.
Check the Acer MXM thread for some ideas, but I warn you that graphics card upgrades are inherently tricky business. Stick with the GT 130M for now. -
Anywhere I searched, the t9300 and t6600 seem to have the same FSB and socket type (socket P), so that looks like it should work..
As for the video card, I really meant to ask about the 240M. I was looking to scoop this laptop up from a newegg deal. Apparently people are recieving this system loading with the 240m instead of the 130m (even when the case says 130m). It looks like all the ones newegg has left have the 240m, but I was thinking if I was an unlucky one and got the 130m, would I be able to upgrade it? -
In theory, yes - the two cards should both be MXM-A.
The key is finding a spare part of the GeForce GT 240M.
