My problem is the same as the ones listed here:

    Acer 6935 4GB to 8GB ram upgrade possible? - chipsets - Laptops & Notebooks
Acer aspireire 6935 upgrade - Chipsets - Motherboards
Acer Aspire 6935G memory probs - AfterDawn: Forums
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...rades/369930-upgrading-acer-aspire-6935g.html

The information is conflicting, but it seems to point to a possible upgrade.
Acer says 4GB is the limit and some people have gotten 6GB to work. I have yet to see 8GB working, but the PM45 chipset should support it.
I'm running Windows 7 x64 with Acer Insyde H2O bios 1.20 (unlocked). Is there some change to the bios that n make it work?

Additionally, if anyone knows the answer to these questions it would help:
How do I know if VT-X is working on my machine?
What's the difference between the 1.20 bios and 1.21 bios, and is the 1.21 bios the latest?
