I have heard to access the ram slot on the Acer one 0722 you need to remove the backplate of which their is a warranty sticker attached that will rip if you do so...can anyone confirm or deny this? It would be a make or break deal for me.

I have never seen warranty stickers on Acer notebooks although sometimes stickers are applied in one country but not in the others (so it would be useful to know what's the case where you live)

In the US there was no tamper sticker that would be broken removing the back. A memory upgrade is easy. Remove screw, slide back off, old stick out, new stick in, rpleace back and screw. Done!

BTW... with 4 Gig it is a great little box!

    Regards

Thanks for that info and yes i do live in the US. That's fantastic to know as it seems it would be a fantastic little road warrior for occasional World of Warcraft on the go.
