Hello guys. I'm new to this forum.

I have an Acer 5720Z with GMA X3100. The BIOS is very basic and there is no way to change the RAM size from there. So I would like to know if there are other ways to change the video RAM size from the default 8mb to the maximum 358mb

    Thanks

The shared VRAM is dynamically allocated and the system adjusts it according to usage. Just make sure your drivers are up to date.

In the BIOS, "Main" Page, there will be the option to allocate system memory to the graphics.

5720Z is almost the same as my 5715Z and I can't allocate more memory from the BIOS. So in case you can't do it from the BIOS, another way to force the driver to "allocate" more memory is from Intel Graphics Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Driver Memory Footprint -> Low/Normal(default)/High. Keep in mind this won't improve your IGP's performance..
