    Mmmm tough question. Im not sure im pretty sure the celeron 530 came in both socket M and P packages. If its a socket P package then your good to go. If not then you would need a t5200. Do you know any other cpu's this laptop came with that would help? Or if someone here knows about your exact laptop more then me.

    Check the Acer forum for the thread on upgrading the 5315 - you've got a Socket P, btw.

    The one I am getting has an Intel X3100. Any Socket M chipsets with that graphics chip or did they all come with GMA 950.

    THe processor is socket P.

    Offcourse you Can... :D...based on my experience I do have 4315 with the T5450 (are the same socket with the T5250)

    yes its easy to upgrade it you just open the huge case on the back of your laptop maybe around 8 screws and then you can see the heatzinc and fan you just open it and dont forget to put thermal grease in your new processor.
